Mo’s Magic Muscle Mix
A unique combination of NaCl, L-Lysine, Methionine and Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) mixed in specific ratios to help the development, strength and health of muscles and soft tissues.
NaCl or salt is an essential component of the horses diet and something that the horse does not usually have adequate access to. Sodium (Na) is essential for the functioning of the Central Nervous System and one of the major electrolytes of the body. Chloride (Cl) is an essential component of bile and required for efficient stomach secretion. It is involved in acid base balance. Sodium intake is also very important in keeping your horse hydrated and blood volume up.
L-Lysine is one of the most essential amino acids for horses. It is low in our pasture and supplementation is often required. Lysine is one of the most important amino acids in the development of muscle and topline in horses as well as for the production of other soft tissues, collagens and skin. It is also excellent for manes, tails, coat and hooves.
Methionine is an essential amino acid that is a vital part of horse health and cannot be produced by the horse. Methionine is specifically used in horses to support muscle health as well as develop healthy skin, coat and hooves.
Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) is a natural, bioavailable source of sulphur that assists in muscle repair, joint issues, hoof support and coat and skin. It is known for it's natural anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. MSM is derived from DMSO (Dimethyl sulfoxide) which is commonly used to treat inflammation.
